  • When you book direct through our website, we allow free cancellation for 24 hours. We offer a 100% refund up to 30 days prior to your stay. After that, you may cancel up to 7 days before check-in and receive a 50% refund. All cancellations must be in writing.

  • At the time you make your reservation, you’ll be guided through a simple, secure verification process, similar to other booking platforms. Then you’ll be asked to virtually sign our short rental agreement before your reservation is confirmed. You’ll receive all the check in details through email 5-7 days prior to your stay.

  • Our calendar allows bookings 12 months in advance.

  • POTENTIAL FOR NOISE: Situated on the river is a historic iron pipe factory and a railroad. You'll get to see some trains go by and watch the workings of a 24-hour factory (a rare glimpse at American manufacturing!). These industries are not noise free! We realize it may not be for everyone and some nights are louder than others. We've added noise reducing insulation to the caboose and also provide a white noise sound machine as well as a fan in the bedroom area should guests feel they need it.

  • Click "contact us" and let us know what you'd like! We can send a gift certificate, and purchasing a James Station ornament makes the gift even sweeter!

  • We get this question often, and we're going to be honest. Between the queen bed and twin sleeper, it's tight, even for 3! Some families with little ones have figured out how to squeeze in, and we're open to it, but consider yourself warned. It's tight!
